The 5 D's are appropriate for today: damp, dank, dark, dreary & dismal (to quote a local weather dude).
It's perfect weather for curling up with a good book or magazine, hot cup of coffee and a quilt. Too bad I didn't take the entire day off. Only took 1/2 day, had lunch with some friends and was home by 12:15. Had a great time at lunch, despite the food only being so-so - the conversation was wonderful.
I'd really like to have a whole weekend of the 5 D's, if only not to feel guilty about being lazy. :)

Hey! It was a lot of fun to spend a little real time with you. We'll have to do it again soon. I'm hardly averse to the idea of assembling an evening crew for the enjoyable consumption of ethanol, for example. :-)
LOL - that sounds like fun!
Those are my favorite kind of days. Especially with a fire in the woodstove.
