School's been cancelled until 5/4/09!
The boy is VERY disappointed because the band trip has been cancelled.
Repeat after me "Don't PANIC"!
Unfortunately, the general public isn't heeding that mantra. Masks and hand sanitizer is flying off the shelves. Hmmm...wonder if the milk and bread is gone, too?!

See, I had a nagging in my head the other day, that said, just go on to the store. So I went early. And, actually thought to buy some extra stuff for the kids to do, just in case.
We are making some cookies tomorrow afternoon. But, this whole school closing thing is a farce. You cannot contain flu that way - unless you shut down every venue where groups of people are (movies, walmart).
The lawyers better be working because tomorrow we close on our refinance.
I can understand the school systems wanting to take precautions; however, I think this was a little extreme.
I'm just wondering if our Band trip will get rescheduled or if we'll get a refund. The boy was SOOOOO disappointed.
