Clicked over from It's a Smalltown Life- this definitely rocks it old school (and I am an old-school marching percussionist)! The marching style is one with which I can identify; here in Kentucky, it's very Bands of America and prop-dependent now, something I have a hard time following and with which I somewhat disagree. Kudos to them for letting the show speak for itself!
AG - Thanks for stopping by. I'm glad that we don't use props. Saw a couple of bands at competition last season use them...they just get in the way and divert attention from the kids. I'll be posting another clip early next week that will have the complete show. The band just finished setting the final song. It looked so good at practice yesterday.
