Last year I went to Costco to get a 52" LCD. I knew which one I wanted; it was just a matter of loading it up. And then the DLP angel started whispering breathily in my ear. I could get a 65" DLP for the same money.
I ultimately resisted, and I think it was a good thing. I haven't regretted not going bigger, which tells me that the 52" was right for our room.
Enjoy the TV, and be warned--60 seconds of high-definition sports will wreck you forever.
