The boy and I are off to Birmingham in the morning, so that he can perform with the Advanced Band at State.
I'm so excited. Can't wait to hear them perform, as well as the other bands invited to UAB. They blew their competition away at District a couple of weeks ago. :)

Hope it's warmer down there than it was up here!
It was not any warmer down there. The breeze was swirling around the buildings at UAB.
Monrovia Middle received Superior for their performance today. We have yet to hear how Sparkman 9th grade & High School did. Sparkman High received a standing ovation after their performance this afternoon!
