While I'm not a beer drinker, I do know several people who will be thrilled with this weekend's reopening of Olde Towne Brewery, a local microbrewery. The original brewery burned down last summer. The owners assured our community that they would rebuild, but maybe not in the same place.
Well, the time has come! OTB is reopening in the Lowe Mill area of town. The city is working on revitalizing this area of town by attracting the local artisans. I haven't been down there, yet. We're planning to go for the grand opening. I'm hoping that it'll be like a smaller (much) of downtown Chattanooga or Nashville. Lots of arts & crafts shops and cool eateries.
